Mission Statement

AECOMMUNITY is a non-profit, 100% student-run website that aims to serve the Einstein community.

History

We were created in 2001 by Zach Grinspan ('04') and Josh Balog ('03). At the time, they saw that the web services offered by Einstein were simply not good enough. With the Internet becoming such an important tool, they felt that the Einstein community could benefit from a website like AECOMMUNITY. So with that in mind, Zach and Josh teamed up and created the first version of AECOMMUNITY. With time, it has evolved to what you see now.

However, the road has been pretty rocky thus far. At the moment, AECOMMUNITY is entirely maintained and funded by the students. The Einstein administration currently does not endorse our activities as an independent site, hence the disclaimer listed at the bottom of every page on our site.
